Parks and Recreation Season 5 Gag Reel
Collider.com — Sometimes a comedy show’s gag reel is funnier than the jokes on the show itself. While that’s not necessarily the case for the hilarious NBC series Parks and Recreation, these twenty-plus minutes of blooper footage are equally side-splitting. It’s always fun to watch actors crack up on camera, get a case of the giggles or just go on a rant of incoherent swearing, especially when those actors include Amy Poehler, Chris Pratt, Aziz Ansari, Nick Offerman, Aubrey Plaza, Rob Lowe, Rashida Jones and Adam Scott, to name a few. Hit the jump to laugh yourself stupid for twenty minutes.

“Parks and Rec” Season 6 premieres Thursday, Sept. 26 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

BelfastTelegraph.co.uk — Aubrey Plaza admits to purchasing bizarre items online when she’s under the influence.
The Parks and Recreation star takes the drug prescribed to treat insomnia. Before it kicks in, Aubrey sometimes finds herself wandering the internet. The practice can often have strange outcomes.
The actress spoke to People magazine about the last thing she returned after an online shopping spree. “I accidentally bought a bunch of weird underwear on Amazon.com,” she admitted. Aubrey blames the popular shopping website’s user-friendly interface for the mishap. She said programmers make it far too easy to purchase items you don’t want. “The Amazon one-click will get you. I think I clicked them by accident. Or I Ambien-bought them,” she mused.
Aubrey recently spoke about her penchant for a different kind of fashion. The star told America’s GQ magazine her style is very laidback although she lusts after looking like she was “born” to wear high heels. According to the article, published in the August issue, Aubrey arrived for the interview wearing a motorcycle helmet and hoodie.
She suggested editors should overlook her style blunder and proposed a revised introduction for the piece. “Aubrey Plaza arrived in a stretch limousine and a Zac Posen, um, shift dress. And an effortless… um… and she looked like she was born to wear high heels,” she mused.
Premiere of Afternoon Delight
Aubrey Plaza made her appearance at the Premiere of Afternoon Delight. I’ve added 66 high resolution images to our gallery. Enjoy!
Aubrey Plaza has previously admitted that she and her Parks And Recreation co-star Amy Poehler are ‘kind of in love.’ And the comediennes were definitely having a wonderful time together in front of the cameras as they hit the Los Angeles premiere of Afternoon Delight on Monday. Aubrey, 29, sidled up close to Amy, 41, and, dipping down low, rested her cheek on her mentor’s chest.
The younger actress was sexily attired in a black leather pleated mini skirt with a white jumper that was emblazoned with the signature NBC peacock. Aubrey accessorised her outfit with tan suede ankle boots while her raven-black hair was swept up in a bun. Amy was decked out in a black jeans, a printed shirt and black blazer, and comfy blue and black high-top trainers completed her sporty ensemble.
On August 10, the pair put on quite a show as they pretended to make-out on the Parks And Recreation set in front of paparazzi. ‘She’s already kind of my girlfriend, and I’m not saying that in a jokey way,’ Aubrey recently told Rolling Stone magazine. ‘We had a moment last year, late at night, when we decided we were gonna end up together. For now, we have to let boys come and go, but we’re kind of in love.’
At the premiere of Afternoon Delight, it was the ladies were thoroughly enjoying themselves smiling and laughing before joining their pals, most of whom were actually in the movie.

In The To-Do List Aubrey Plaza’s character makes a checklist of sexual acts to try, and then methodically makes her way through them. But it’s in Plaza’s own career that the plans actually seem to be coming together the best. In the midst of a long and much-beloved run on critical and popular favorite sitcom Parks and Recreation, she began with a few small parts in celebrated indies—notably Judd Apatow’s Funny People, Whit Stillman’s Damsels in Distress and Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. She then progressed to her first co-lead, with Mark Duplass, in the Sundance hit Safety Not Guaranteed. And now The To-Do List marks her first solo lead in a film.
But it all makes so much sense, since she grew up in the acting hotbed of
Delaware? Or, as a current indie film calls it, Hellaware? Plaza is aghast at the reference. “I’ve never heard of anyone calling it Hellaware!” she shouts. “That’s not accurate! Delaware is magical!”

Aubrey Plaza Talks Puerto Rican Heritage And ‘Awkward’ Latino Moments
Filed Under: Articles • Posted on August 15th, 2013 by Ray • Comments Off
HuffingtonPost.com — With scarlet colored lips, fingertips and a matching strappy dress actress and comedian Aubrey Plaza appears as Cosmopolitan for Latinas’ fall 2013 cover girl with a simple message beside her: “Boricua pa’que lo sepas!”
The 29-year-old star of the newly released comedy “The To Do List” spoke to the magazine about her little known Puerto Rican heritage, the “awkward” things her Boricua relatives did, and how humor fits into her everyday life. Plaza rose to fame as the passive aggressive April in NBC’s “Parks and Recreation” but what many fans don’t know is that the star is actually part Puerto Rican.
“A lot of people don’t assume I’m Puerto Rican because I’m fair skinned,” the actress told Cosmopolitan for Latinas. “But I feel very connected to that side of my family.” Despite feeling “connected” to her Latino heritage, the star admits there are things, that come with having Puerto Rican relatives, that she could’ve done without growing up. “My aunts and uncles used to teach my friends salsa at all my birthday parties in middle school. It. Was. Awkward,” Plaza told the magazine.
While the star may be infamous for her deadpan comedic characters, Aubrey revealed that her humor doesn’t stop when she leaves the set. “Humor is always the way I deal with everything,” the actress and comedian added. “Whether it was a shitty job, a boring class, or anything, my brain is always looking at it through that lens.”
Still, not even humor could save her from filming some of “The To Do List’s” most uncomfortable sex scenes. “I think masturbating was pretty awkward because I didn’t’ have anyone else to lean on,” she told The Daily Beast. “I just had myself. That was awkward.”
Q&A: ‘The To Do List’ star Aubrey Plaza
RedEyeChicago.com — “The To Do List” star Aubrey Plaza has stated she approaches some interviews as performance art pieces. This may explain why during a recent phone interview she claimed to be on a canoe in the middle of a lake. “It just makes me more relaxed,” the 29-year-old said, “and I’m more open to answering questions.”Actually, she was in a Beverly Hills hotel room and wasn’t quite as open as her character in the 1993-set “The To Do List,” opening Friday.
In the film, Brandy (Plaza) aspires to learn and complete a list of sex acts as homework so she can be practiced and confident when she begins her freshman year of college in the fall. Plaza, who has a regular gig on NBC’s “Parks and Recreation,” took the movie part to showcase her physical comedy skills and personality dynamics that are more sincere and motivated than her usual characters.
She has said the film could rub some people the wrong way because they might not want to watch a girl learn to do the things on the list. RedEye got a different take from the actress, who said the film taught her what “the shocker” was. “I don’t know why anyone would say that,” she said of her previous statement, joking, “I think the movie will rub people the right way. Know what I’m sayin’?”
Brandy has some bad things happen to her on the job at the pool. What’s the worst on-the-job accident you’ve ever had?
That’s a really good question. One time I worked at a Joe’s Crab Shack and someone stole all my CDs out of my car. But that’s not something I did. [Laughs.] I mean, look, I’m trying to be honest. I can’t remember anything else.

GQ: Interview with Aubrey Plaza
I don’t think I ever posted this, but here’s an interesting, awkward-yet-hilarious article of Aubrey Plaza talking about her dream role, her sex scenes in “The To-Do-List” and just being Aubrey.
GQ.com — Aubrey Plaza is on her best behavior, or trying to be. “If I wasn’t shooting tomorrow, I’d drink a lot,” she says, less than five minutes into our interview. “I’d burn it to the ground.” Eventually, though, the night will turn weird. Aubrey Plaza is really good at being weird.
But we’re getting ahead of ourselves. It is a warm evening in early June, in an off-season ski-resort town in upstate New York, where Plaza is filming a movie. “It’s real bumblefucky up here!” she texted me, and the one-stoplight street is empty when I arrive. Then I see her bombing down a hill on a mountain bike.
It’s clear upon meeting Plaza that she is not the sarcastic, disaffected April Ludgate from Parks and Recreation, or the sarcastic, disaffected romantic interest in Funny People, or the sarcastic, disaffected hanger-on in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, or the sarcastic, disaffected lead from the cute indie Safety Not Guaranteed. She laughs, occasionally. She’s more casually pretty than she’s ever allowed to look on-screen. She does not cower into her hoodie and blink slowly at every stupid thing that’s said to her. Even when I ask about her dream role.
“I want to be Catwoman,” she says, over dinner at the only restaurant open on a Monday night. She lets the edge of her lip lift just the smallest amount, a hint of a smile. “I want my shot at Catwoman, and I want it soon.”

Before They Were Famous: Aubrey Plaza as ‘Teen Hag’
Filed Under: Articles, Videos • Posted on August 9th, 2013 by Ray • Comments Off
NextMovie.com — you’ve ever wanted to tweet something to Aubrey Plaza using, say, her real name, you’re not gonna have much luck. Instead, fans of the “Parks and Rec” and “The To Do List” star know to @ the actress @ a more unconventional Twitter handle: @evilhag.
But how does one come up with such a… unique name? We may have just found the answer.
In the latest edition of Before They Were Famous, we present to you Aubrey Plaza as “Teen Hag,” a nerdy high schooler who transforms into — yes, you guessed it — an evil hag. Feast your eyes on this little-known YouTube video from 2008, in which Plaza screams, shouts and lets it all out, complete with crazy googley eyes and a hideous hag-ish wig.
The actress actually referenced this video in a recent interview with Rolling Stone: “It’s a parody of ‘Teen Wolf’, but it’s about a high school girl who turns into a hag. When I was in college, I had a blog called Salty Sea Hag, where I did political humor from the point of view of a sea witch living on the bottom of the ocean. My hag thing goes way back.”

People.com — The Parks & Recreation actress, 29, stars as a recent high school grad in The To Do List and chatted with PEOPLE this week about “one last thing” …
Last prank I pulled
I was working with Jason Ritter and Max Greenfield and we were staying in these really creepy condominiums. I hid upstairs and Jason told Max that I wasn’t there and then I screamed at the top of my lungs. Jason freaked out more than Max did.
Last song I downloaded
I thought “Get Lucky” was the song of the summer, but I’m shooting a movie with John C. Reilly, who told me it’s “Blurred Lines.” Now we play it every day and dance.
I was jumping in to the Hudson River with my mom and I got bit by a spider on my knee. It’s still there and it’s getting worse. I think it has poisonous venom in it.
My siblings are much younger than me so we don’t fight that much. But my sister is breathing down my neck to buy her Jonas Brothers concert tickets. It’s not that I didn’t want to buy them, I just didn’t do it yet.
