Aubrey Plaza To Appear At Stand Up To Cancer Event
Aubrey Plaza is scheduled to appear at the 2010 Stand Up To Cancer event in Los Angeles. The telethon will be aired on September 10, 2010 at 8PM – all proceeds from the telethon benefit the Stand Up 2 Cancer Foundation. The one-hour fundraising event will be simulcast live and commercial-free on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, Bio, Discovery Health, E!, G4, HBO, HBO Latino, MLB Network, mun2, Showtime, Smithsonian Channel, The Style Network, TV One, and VH1.

Aubrey Plaza To Guest Star On New Series “Portlandia”
IFC has given the green light for “Portlandia,” a comedy series from “Saturday Night Live” star Fred Armisen, musician Carrie Brownstein and Jonathan Krisel of “SNL.”
Allison Silverman (“The Colbert Report”) joins them as a writer on the series.
“SNL” creator Lorne Michaels will serve as executive producer with his Broadway Video producing the show.
IFC eyes the series, which “lovingly illustrates the people and values of Portland, Ore.,” for a 2011 debut.
Armisen and Brownstein will star, with Aubrey Plaza (“Parks and Recreation”) and Kyle MacLachlan (“Twin Peaks,” “Sex & The City”) being guest stars.
“Portlandia” begins production in Portland later this month.
“This series truly personifies the sharp-cool-twisted filter of IFC’s programming,” said Debbie DeMontreux, senior vp of original programming for IFC.

Aubrey is set to be a guest on the talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live” next week, on July 31st!
Jimmy Kimmel must have made a deal with “Funny People.” ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” will feature a cast member from Universal’s upcoming comedy each night next week.
Actress Leslie Mann (“Knocked Up”) will appear on Tuesday, July 28th. Jonah Hill, of “Superbad” and “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” fame, also stars and will appear on Wednesday, July 29th.
Funnyman Seth Rogen will appear on the Thursday, July 30th edition of the program. Actress Aubrey Plaza, of NBC’s “Parks & Recreation,” also stars in the film and appears on the show on Friday, July 31st.
