Aubrey Plaza is a mom!

The White Lotus actress, 42, has welcomed her first baby with boyfriend Christopher Abbott, TMZ reports after spotting the actress with her newborn on Sunday, Aug. 9.

Plaza was photographed with her baby after supporting Abbott at his final Broadway performance in Death of a Salesman in New York City.

A rep for Plaza did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

A source confirmed to PEOPLE in April that Plaza was expecting her first baby with the Girls actor. The insider also revealed that the couple’s new addition was due in the fall.

“It was a beautiful surprise after an emotional year,” the source said, adding that “they feel very blessed.”

A rep for Plaza also confirmed the news to PEOPLE at the time.

Plaza and Abbott, 40, previously collaborated on the Off-Broadway revival of Danny and the Deep Blue Sea and the 2020 film Black Bear.

He most recently starred in the revival of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman opposite Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf.

Hours after Plaza’s pregnancy news made headlines, the Parks and Recreation star was photographed walking her dog in New York City with her baby bump on display, wearing a casual polo shirt paired with sweatpants and a pair of black sunglasses.

Before that outing, Plaza kept her bump under wraps — even while sitting front row at Paris Fashion Week. At the Loewe Fall/Winter 2026-2027 show on March 6, Plaza wore an oversized black leather jacket paired with a red sweater and booties.

The actress later appeared on a special bonus episode of the Smartless podcast on Monday, April 13, where she spoke about her pregnancy for the first time.

“Well, there’s a baby inside of me,” she told hosts Will Arnett, Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes. “No, I said there is a baby inside of me right now.”

Plaza then shared her excitement about becoming a first-time mom.

“I am. Yeah. I’ve always wanted, I’ve always wanted, I’ve always wanted to see what that’s all about, you know?” Plaza said of becoming a mom. “It just seems so interesting, that whole thing.”

As for where she plans to raise her child, Plaza noted, “It’s not totally thought through, but East Coast for sure.”
